Following the Wistow Loop out of Ramsey Heights, the route turns just before entering Upwood into Turf Fen. It loops around through the fields to Lady's Wood.
Lady's wood is a small ancient wood, in Spring full of bluebells. Unfortunately it has to be closed when the bluebells are in flower to protect this nature reserve. The route goes around the wood, but when open, there is a path through the trees.
From Lady's Wood the route takes us to the villages of Upwood and Great Ravely. A beautiful path through pastures and fields leads to Ravely Fen Road, where the route follows the Woodwalton Loop back to Ramsey Heights.
